Our mission, vision, and core values are important tools to unite the NewSource organization by common goals and in a shared ambition.

It addresses the question:  “Why do we need the organization called  NewSource?”

The Mission of NewSource is to transform Christian ministries.

Vision Statement

 

Our statement of vision for NewSource is intended to provide a picture of our desired present and future service to Christian ministries. We are led by our vision.

 

NewSource, rooted in God’s Word, is an ecumenical source of inspiration, ideas, and practical solutions for transforming Christian ministries.

 

 

 

 

Core Values

 

The values statement captures the things that our organization holds dearly and deeply.  If any of these were taken away or cut out of NewSource, it would feel as if it was not the same organization.  The statement of values witnesses to how cherished beliefs are translated into behavior.

 

NewSource Core Values, Grounded in the Gospel

 

Ecumenism - NewSource is rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and is not affiliated with any specific denomination.  The consultants, materials, methodology, and environment reflect and nurture the diversity of God’s people.

 

Hospitality - NewSource welcomes and nurtures all individuals and groups, meeting their needs in a friendly, non-judgmental environment.

 

Synergy - NewSource provides a gracious space for mutual exchange of ideas and materials through exploration and conversation.

 

Empowerment - NewSource evokes and enables individuals and ministries in development of competencies and skills necessary to fulfill their roles in service.

 

Creativity - NewSource provides an enriching environment for a variety of the gifts of the Spirit to be released.

 

Justice - NewSource practices faithful stewardship by serving all ministries, regardless of financial conditions through mission outreach.

 

Transformation - NewSource supports life-giving adaptation and growth for ministry and service.
